Ford Rugby Academy Clinic – Monday 26 February

You’re invited to join us for a one-off training clinic with the Ford Rugby Academy from Rishworth School, who are visiting Singapore from the UK.

For our U10s through to U15s, they are offering a FREE coaching clinic Monday 26 February, 5-7pm on the Grass Pitch.

Rishworth & The Ford Rugby Academy

Rishworth School has a long tradition of playing rugby and has in recent years produced a number of professional rugby players including Leicester Tigers captain and England vice-captain George Ford and England Rugby League player Gareth Widdop.

This special clinic will be lead by Rishworth’s first XV coach, Tony Anderson who is an ex-professional Rugby League Player and Coach with over 25 years of experience in the game. He won the League Championship and Challenge Cup whilst playing for Halifax RLFC in the 1980’s as well as a Grand Final win with the Canterbury Bulldogs in Australia. After playing, Tony had coaching stints with Huddersfield, Halifax, Gateshead Thunder and Hull FC.

Since leaving Rugby League in 2004, Tony has coached at Rishworth School coaching George Ford, Gareth Widdop, Joe Ford and William Milner, amongst others.
