Centaurs Rugby

Professional coaches:

We carefully select our team of professional coaches based on their level of playing experience, their coaching qualifications and their personalities. Most are current players with a high playing pedigree.

Parent volunteer coaches:

We encourage parents to become involved in helping at all levels below the Colts (U13s). To keep the coaching at a manageable number, we limit the number of volunteers.

Referees

We’re always on the lookout for iRB qualified referees and people who wish to train to become qualified referees.  Within the club and at tournaments we often need referees at all levels – Mini, Touch and full contact.

Tournament assistants:

We run tournaments several times a year, these large-scale events require additional temporary staff to support our regular team. Tasks mainly involve administration.

Centaurs Kids

Instructors:

We employ reliable, responsible part time staff to support our team during parties and camps. We offer training and the chance to develop your leadership skills working with children and adults. You need to be aged 17+. No previous experience is necessary as we will train you.

Assistants

Many sixth form students join us as party and camp assistants. Part of our Instructor training involves a 2-3 month stint as an assistant. This role involves supporting the Instructors.

Gap year:

We provide opportunities for gap year students to join us, develop some experience and learn about themselves and others. The work is varied and active. We need capable, smart people who can see what needs doing and get on with doing it!

We sometimes need temporary support with tasks related to our facilities and events. We need flexible and capable workers to join our team.
