Newcomers
Who can play
New and experienced players join us throughout the year. From age 3 to 13 boys and girls play Mini rugby. Boys continue with contact rugby up to age 18.
From ages 7 to 18 we also offer GirlsTouch.
Many players get the chance to go on international tours at least twice a year.

What children learn with us
We see children learning to inspire themselves and others. Our Pathway Development Programme, Playing the Game @ Centaurs, ensures that the kids learn core skills from a very early age. With this grounding they can safely and comfortably learn the contact elements of rugby union.
At each level of development we introduce core and advanced skills of playing rugby. These include game skills such as passing, catching, running & evasion, tackling, scrums, lineouts, rucking and mauling. As well as the skills we use outside of sport, such as decision-making, teamwork and communication.
Our professional coaches train the children in the skills of the modern game. On the pitch the kids learn about communication, teamwork and self-discipline. Better understanding how to interact with others and developing their own capabilities, they discover self-confidence.
