Andrew has played Touch since the late 80’s (when it was 7-a-side!). As a teenager he played in Townsville and the Brisbane Super league Competition, before moving to Sydney where he played grade competitions in Penrith and Moore Park. Coinciding with a move to Canberra in 2004, Andrew progressed to a representative Touch career and coached with ACT touch. He has played Touch against the best players in the world at NTL level and World Masters level, and has played touch in New Zealand and Singapore.
Three themes overarch Andrew’s touch clinics:
- It’s a team game
- Communication is very important
- Enjoy yourself. Don’t put pressure on yourself to achieve, that will come.
