Centaurs continues to work with our NGO partner Kampuchea Balopp (KB) in Cambodia and provided expertise to support their latest initiative of introducing girl’s Touch rugby to get more girls playing sports in Cambodia.
Centaurs Director of Touch, Benjamin Ting and Megan Lim were recently in Phnom Pehn to conduct a “train-the-trainer” workshop for the local KB coaches to equip them with the official Touch rules, practical drills and game plays to embed into to their training programs.
Since then, the KB coaches have used their new knowledge and held a sports training clinic for Soulcial Trust, an NGO in Siem Reap, to provide access of sports to disadvantaged and disabled children with a turn up of over 50 children!
We look forward to future opportunities to support KB’s mission of building and developing youths through sports!
