We are excited to announce that from January 2017, Centaurs Group will be offering Netball coaching and playing opportunities.
Netball will be the latest addition to our compendium at the Centaurs Sports Park. We welcome on board Karla Loughnan as Director of Netball and ex-Singapore player Jolynn Loo as Head Coach and Programme Director.
The establishment of Centaurs Netball will coincide with the building of a brand-new facility at Centaurs Sports Park, a full-size netball court on Carpark #2 between the Grass Pitches and the Mini Fields. This will become available for hire in the coming months.
Centaurs Netball: who can play?
The section will commence coaching on 21st January 2017.
Initial age groups on offer will be Under 11s and Under 12s (girls and boys born in 2005, 2006 and 2007). U11s will train Saturdays 3 – 4.30pm and U12s Saturdays 4.30 – 6pm.
We have every intention to expand the age groups as interest builds and membership demand grows. Teams will take part in Sport Ready’s leagues in the second half of the year.
We are very excited about bringing another sport under the Centaurs umbrella and welcome all you current and new Netball players to our family.
