Centaurs is happy to welcome on board a new Director of Touch, Matthew John.
Matthew has been playing Touch for 12 years. He’s competed at an enviably high level for Singapore, playing for the Men’s Open National team and at the World Cup 2015. As a coach, he’s been sharing his experience for 10 years across schools, junior colleges, clubs and universities. Notable successes have been with Raffles Junior College and Yale-NUS.
Rounding out his stellar touch CV, Matt is certified as a FIT qualified coach (Level 1) and a FIT qualified referee (Level 2).
His approach to Centaurs Touch is one of growth and success across all age groups. For the Centaurs Touch Academy, we are exploring additional training, elite level squads, guest coaching sessions, holiday camps and more in due course. Matt is passionate about growing Centaurs Touch and enhancing our competitive edge, with objectives to improve as individual players and their respective teams.
