Outgoing Director of Rugby, Charlie Lambert
“Centaurs says goodbye to Charlie Lambert, who after 7 years with the group is moving to Auckland, NZ in August. Charlie has been instrumental in establishing systems and procedures for our facilities, and then recently adding Director of Rugby to his job scope, following Nick Dance’s return to England in December 2018. He has overseen our operations for running and cycling events, managed the various requirements of our facilities users, and worked closely with our groundsman. He will be sorely missed, and especially by me.”
Tim Lambert, Centaurs Group CEO
“Term 2 wraps up my short tenure as DoR at Centaurs. It was a role I stepped into after Nick Dance’s departure at the end of 2018 initially as an Interim DoR until we found a suitable replacement which I can gratefully say we have done!
From playing during the school holidays in the early years, working and coaching in my year off, to coming on board full time in 2013. Each day is exciting and the changes the Club brings is all to better the players’ future in the sport and themselves as people. It’s been a total pleasure working here and I leave you in the very capable hands of Sean who I know will be bringing new and exciting ideas to the rugby section.”

Incoming Director of Rugby, Sean Goh
“I am delighted to welcome Sean Goh as our new Director of Rugby. Many of you should be familiar with Sean as he has been coaching at Centaurs since 2015. Sean has also been a member of the Bedok Kings coaching team in Singapore. Sean is World Rugby Level 1 qualified and is currently taking his Level 2.”
Tim Lambert, Centaurs Group CEO
“Having joined as a Pro-Coach in 2015, one of the first thing that struck me was the incredible family atmosphere that Tim has created at Centaurs and that has been vital factor in the overall Club’s success. I’ve had the privilege of working with Charlie & Nick during their tenures as Director of Rugby and it’s experience that will no doubt be invaluable to me.
As I step into the role, my focus will be on how I can facilitate our coaches to be the best coaches you can be. What are the structures, resources and training we can put in place to enable us to not only continue producing brilliant young rugby players, but also keep everyone enjoying being part of the Centaurs family.”
