One thing we LOVE about our work is getting to remind ourselves of what it’s like to be 8 and think about a perfect week at that age – and so the programmes for our multisports camps are refreshed each new round of school holidays!
Additional to the classic team sports, water fights, teambuilding games and muddy activities in The Pit, we’ve partnered with some cool and interesting businesses in Singapore for this next round of camps, handpicking our favourite activities for the perfect last summer at Centaurs Sports Park.
πββοΈ The Wow Experience invest in lots of equipment and tour around Singapore with their van – we’ve been using them for Laser Tag in our Pit for over a decade (they used to be Combat Skirmish) and now we’re ready to trial Stand Up Paddle Boarding with them in July.
π Akasha from Longkang Adventures reached out to us with a proposal when he caught wind of our jungle area. Our first meeting with him was WILD π He jumped fully clothed into the deepest part of the river in The Pit for a dip, and impressed us by catching a small fish with his bare hands – we knew the kids would love everything about Akasha and his passion for nature, so we just had to get him and his longkang fishing tutorials into our programme.
π΅ββοΈ Cycling has been part of our camps for a while, as we’ve had relationships with cycling entities over the years, building and creating MTB trails and obstacles around Centaurs. On camps, this has meant that confident riders have learnt tricks like wheelies and how to navigate bumps, jumps, rocks, and narrow bridges on two wheels. Others have come to camp and learnt how to ride from scratch within 2 hours!
πΉ Then, we have Odyssey longboarding, who also reached out to us for partnership. They’re a board shop here in Singapore, who happen to run clinics for people interested in trying the sport. It’s fast, it’s zippy, and our Netball courts have been the perfectly smooth surface to give it go – knee and elbow pads provided!
Doesn’t this sound like a perfect school holiday?! If you have children who love to get outside and try new things, take a look at our camps in May/June/July (August dates still to come) – everything you need is on our Multisports Camps page.Β
