We blinked and it’s July!! June was another big month for the Centaurs sports clubs:
🎡 We hosted our first Netball Carnival since the move, a full Sunday of netball games at Dulwich College in Singapore
🏉 We launched our July rugby camp in Singapore! This camp is open to all clubs, Centaurs members and non-members. Sign up here!
🏝 We persevered with our beach day, the same day as the oil spill. It definitely impacted our numbers but a lovely opportunity to hang out with the people who could make it. Made up for with some cold beers from our clubhouse Lion Brewery Co – thank you!
🚌 Based on member feedback, we trialled a shuttle bus to Rugby training from Botanic Gardens MRT station, receiving great feedback and giving us confidence to offer this for future terms at Centaurs
🇦🇺 Our netballers went to the Fuel to Go Netball Tournament in Perth hashtag#CentaursSportsTravel
💪 Coaches Sponsor City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy joined us at training to talk to members about common injuries that athletes face
🍬 End of Term 2 sillies with parents vs players, tug of war, slip n slides and more!
🌭 Our first Minis Meet Up BBQ at West Coast Park was a huge success!!
👋 We said some farewells to members relocating overseas 💔 It’s always the toughest part of being a multinational club…but we know these families will always be a part of the Centaurs story and continue their sporting journeys in new countries
