We blinked and it’s July!! June was another big month for the Centaurs sports clubs:
π‘ We hosted our first Netball Carnival since the move, a full Sunday of netball games at Dulwich College in Singapore
π We launched our July rugby camp in Singapore! This camp is open to all clubs, Centaurs members and non-members. Sign up here!
π We persevered with our beach day, the same day as the oil spill. It definitely impacted our numbers but a lovely opportunity to hang out with the people who could make it. Made up for with some cold beers from our clubhouse Lion Brewery Co – thank you!
π Based on member feedback, we trialled a shuttle bus to Rugby training from Botanic Gardens MRT station, receiving great feedback and giving us confidence to offer this for future terms at Centaurs
π¦πΊ Our netballers went to the Fuel to Go Netball Tournament in Perth hashtag#CentaursSportsTravel
πͺ Coaches Sponsor City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy joined us at training to talk to members about common injuries that athletes face
π¬ End of Term 2 sillies with parents vs players, tug of war, slip n slides and more!
π Our first Minis Meet Up BBQ at West Coast Park was a huge success!!
π We said some farewells to members relocating overseas π It’s always the toughest part of being a multinational club…but we know these families will always be a part of the Centaurs story and continue their sporting journeys in new countries
July’s the month to rest up and recharge, or join our rugby camps!Β
Hope you’re enjoying the term break so far
